Keep the scope clear

A shorter booking with a focused plan.

A half-day works well when the brief is ready, the number of looks is controlled and the lighting plan is simple. Allow time for arrival and setup before the first frame, and pack-down before the end of your slot.

Portraits & a small lookbook.

Keep the number of people, looks and background changes realistic for the booked hours.

Products & content batches.

Group similar products and shots so lighting and styling can stay consistent.

Pre-light & technical preparation.

Use an agreed session to prepare for a later shoot. Confirm access and what can remain in place between bookings.

Your questions

Useful answers before you book.

What hours can a half-day cover?

Half-day bookings are typically 4–5 hours. Common four-hour slots include 9am–1pm, 2pm–6pm or 6pm–10pm; exact times and flexibility depend on availability and your confirmed booking.

Can we extend on the day?

Ask the team as early as possible. Extra time depends on availability and the agreed additional charge; it should not be assumed.

When is a full day a better choice?

Consider a full day if you need several lighting setups, many wardrobe changes, a large crew, complex filming or a substantial set build.

Can I bring my own equipment?

Yes. You can bring your own kit with no extra charge for doing so. Ground-floor shutter access makes loading easier. Send large-item dimensions and power requirements before the day.

Is studio hire suitable for a first-time user?

Yes. Tell us your brief, experience and what help you need. We can discuss the right duration, equipment and support before you book.

How much does hire cost?

Your quote depends on dates, hours, chosen setup, equipment, preparation and support. Send your brief for availability and a tailored price; the team will confirm all inclusions and booking terms.

Can we visit before booking?

Ask to arrange a recce. It is particularly useful for a large set, vehicle shoot, complex rig, dialogue recording or virtual-production workflow.
